As a summer and fall '21 intern, I contributed to inclusive product design, shaping end-to-end digital experiences within a dynamic studio. 001. Microsoft: Mixed Reality Dev Days
Enter the Mixed Reality Dev Days. A Microsoft-hosted hackathon that harnessed the power of the Mixed Reality Toolkit (MRTK). Together with Seattle's visionary design studio, September Works, we crafted a visually stunning website embodying the event's futuristic theme. White Rabbit Group's technical prowess brought this vision to life.
Inspired by command line interfaces, September Works created a brand alive with animated spirographs, futuristic gradients, and the bold Lineto typeface—a nod to gaming's origins. Introducing ThreadIt: A groundbreaking reimagining of video meetings brought to life with the collaboration of the team at September Works. Unlike traditional simultaneous meetings, ThreadIt revolutionizes interaction by enabling users to create, share, and respond to recorded video clips.
Through this innovative platform, participants can engage asynchronously, watching and contributing to discussions at their convenience. This novel approach eliminates scheduling constraints while seamlessly weaving individual video clips into a unified, chapter-like video, mimicking the flow of a real meeting.
ThreadIt represents a paradigm shift in collaborative communication, achieved through a collective effort at September Works.
